IRDE setup is made out of Teflon material to ensure the resistance to acidic and alkaline environments.

In IRDE, the electrode surface is oriented upward, and gas bubbles can quickly disengage from the surface.
Double Walled Polypropylene Beaker

Polypropylene (PP) double walled beakers are made by soldering two different size PP beakers.

Commercially available glass beakers are not suitable for HF acids, whereas PP beakers are resistant to HF acid
